Buffalo Jack`s in Covington

The Spinach and Artichoke dip and homemade chips were quite tasty. Chicken salad melt was delish.

We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The portions were large and prices very reasonable. Service was great. The menu items definitely out of the ordinary but also had regular items for those who don't want to try wild menu itemsI had the Cod dinner which was delicious. My husband had the buffalo Philly cheese sandwich platter which he really enjoyed.

Can't beat their wide variety of menu items especially at the small town prices they offer. Grilled Walleye was delicious.

I'm ever in town again am definitely stopping by. This is the best food I've ever had on the road!!!

We enjoy coming in sometimes we sit at the bar or in a booth. It’s been nice being greeted by the regular nightly bartender she’s told us her name but I forget. She’s short with long blond hair, she’s a very good bartender server. The last few trips we have tried different items on the menu that she recommended. We really enjoyed the veggie combo. One Friday there wasn’t much room to sit up front so we were in the dinning room. This area is sort of a tight squeeze and they had to many servers on the floor which makes it even more crowded next time we will wait for the front to open up or come back later as we did not like sitting in the dinning room. We usually stop in a few times a week even if it’s only for a few beers. Monday and Tuesday evenings have never been busy when we have been in there and a few times we were the only customers so I’m not sure why they are even open for dinner those two nights. Hopefully they update the menu sometime to more appealing appetizers.

We stopped in here on our way through Covington for supper. Great food and drinks! Donna was super friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back! try the Buffalo drink while you're there!

The place offers a large variety of fresh food. I loved dining here. Employees are always friendly, prices are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean.

This restaurant has superb service as well as delicious meals. One of my favourite restaurants in the area. The food arrived quickly and the rates were inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Intimate dining paired with exotic menu items and very friendly service I've always had a great time

I actually went there to try some exotic animals and it turned out to be one of the best. I tried 'All five game sausages' and 'Alligator Sampler'. Alligator sampler was best among them. Other thing I tried were turtle soup, although turtle chunks were very small the soup tasted very good. Other than that steak and hash browns were good but greasy. Overall if you want to try some exotic food then this is your spot. Good food and atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this place.

I've been eating breakfast here for years, my local family even longer. The menu hasn't change much in 15+ years. The food is rustic and fits the the atmosphere they're going for. Price is pretty reasonable.They seem to have a high turn over in their wait and kitchen staff, so the breakfast is experience can be a bit hit or miss, at times.Overall though it is a good experience.

Reasonably priced good food. The atmosphere is old school with wood paneling and trophy animal heads everywhere. Wait staff were friendly and checked on our table throughout our lunch. Buffalo Jack's is famous for their game meats; alligator, elk, bison, however, o can't report on those.

Nice people, local vibe. Ordered ribs and mashed potatoes. Ribs were old, by a day I would say. Potatoes were completely unseasoned, lol. No salt or pepper on them at all. Nice people, not so great food for a 40 minute drive on a honeymoon

I loved it 10 years ago...and i still love it today.

I have been going to B Jack's for almost 30 years. It seems to be worse than I remember. The water taste bad. Pork tenderloin has gotten smaller over the years. No pickle on our lunch plate (it was there in the past). No french fries. Had to get curly fries (taste fine) . Prices have gone up, taste has gone down.

We drove 2 hrs just to visit for the game menu. Everything was great. Service was excellent. Decorations were all authentic Indian. Pretty neat historical place. Bathroom was old and kinda of dingy.

Waitress was awesome but the cook was mediocre at best. We could hear them complaining about the way one meal was ordered (sauce on chicken tenders not on the side) and on a separate meal the chicken was completely raw on the inside. Now I like my chicken rare but this was for my kid. I must say the waitress was nice enough to have them recook it so not a total loss. Probably won't be going back... Great home style food at affordable prices. The walleye is great and I suggest to tavern platter for an appetizer. Masked potatoes and gravy are scratch made.All in all a great evening.

What a neat little place! Awesome decor and great service. I enjoyed a country fried steak sandwich but only because they were out of Buffalo. Quite an extensive menu.

I was so excited about visiting this place until we looked at the menu. I thought this place would have more variety of Game meat on the menu then it did. I was so disappointed we ended up just getting the fish dinner. I was hoping to try something out of the ordinary. As I recall the menu meats were pork, buffalo burger, chicken, fish, alligator bites. Was hoping for a better variety.
